There are three different rounds in Bodybuilding. 1. Quarter Turns (Symmetry) The competitors will line up on stage in the Front Relaxed pose and quarter turn right for the left side stance and quarter turn right again with your back to the audience and quarter turn again for the right side stance and then once again to face the audience. They will stay there and be directed through the "Mandatory's" next.
2. Mandatory's (Muscularity and or Posing round) The head judge will direct the competitors through all the poses. The head judge may move competitors around in the line up and may ask for some poses more than once. If a class is large, some may be brought to the center stage while others wait to the side. Once all the judges have finished the class will be dismissed and routines will start.
Posing Instructions
9. Standing Calf Raise (optional pose) 3.Presentation (Routine) Routines should be between 60-90 seconds long and choreographed to music. Props are allowed. Please make sure music is not vulgar as this will affect your placing. Outside of that, the routines are not usually judged and are applicable for best poser awards.
